Extras wins at Golden Globes



The Ricky Gervais-starring funniness 'Extras' was named Topper Drollery Series in the TV categories at the Golden Ball Awards press conference in Los Angeles last night.
The accolade for Best TV Drama went to 'Mad Men', with its star, Privy Hamm, named Best Thespian in a TV Dramatic event Series.
Glenn Close won the Best Actress in a TV Dramatic event Series award for her performance in 'Damages'.
The laurels for C. H. Best Role player in a TV Comedy Series went to David Duchovny for 'Californication', with Tina Fey winning the Topper Actress in a TV Drollery Series award for '30 Rock'.
Thither were three awards for the Channel 4-screened TV film 'Longford': it won the Best Mini-Series or Motion Video Made for Television system prize, with its stars, Jim Broadbent and Samantha Ferdinand Joseph La Menthe Morton, winning the Best Player and C. H. Best Support Actress awards.
Poove Latifah south Korean won the Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or TV Film for 'Life Support' and Jeremy Piven won the Best Support TV Actor award for 'Entourage'.
